The original MK-II was made in 1996 and is the perfect combination of two different schools of thought. Like the MK-I, the MK-II features a carved Strat style body with a Maple top with natural binding over a Mahogany body, and Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard, but features a shorter Gibson style scale length, wider nut, and 10° tilt back headstock. The MK-II is loaded with a Tune-O Matic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece for added sustain. Lindy Fralin Custom Strat pickups come stock with the standard model.
